Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member and Blues Hall of Fame inductee Elvin Bishop has been performing his electrified front porch blues for over 50 years. Rolling Stone calls his music ‘a good time romp’ raucous blues with high-energy soloing, mixtures of careening slide and razor-edged bursts, all delivered with unflagging enthusiasm and wit.” Bishop first hit the national scene in 1965 with The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, introducing electric Chicago blues to the rock audience. He later scored big in 1975 with “Fooled Around And Fell In Love,” which reached number three on the pop charts. Today, he continues to tour and release new music, mixing thick blues grooves with timeless rock flavors and homespun wisdom.
