  • Masters of the Telecaster

    Featuring three of the most respected guitarists in American roots music, this all-star ensemble unites G.E. Smith, Larry Campbell, and Jim Weider for a powerhouse evening of blues, rock, and soul. Performing music spanning Roy Buchanan, Sam Cooke, Bo Diddley, and The Rolling Stones, the group blends deep tradition with masterful musicianship. They are joined by Lincoln Schleifer (bass) and Josh Dion (drums/vocals). Emmy Award-winner G.E. Smith, longtime Saturday Night Live musical director, has toured with Bob Dylan and Roger Waters and collaborated with artists from Mick Jagger to David Bowie. Three-time Grammy winner Larry Campbell, former member of Bob Dylan's band and music director for Levon Helm, is a highly sought-after multi-instrumentalist and Americana Music Association honoree. Jim Weider, acclaimed for his tenure with The Band, is a Fender-endorsed guitarist known for his signature Telecaster sound.

  • Local Artist Series: Jen Kearney

    Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Jen Kearney has spent some time seasoning her particular style of original music. Her sound is truly an amalgamation of musical styles including Soul, R&B, Funk, Rock, and Latin. Kearney's music and attention to lyrics and has met critical acclaim nationally and internationally. Kearney recently released a full-length LP called 'Gas Station Poet' that WBUR called "a very timely concept record" and chose it as one of their favorites of 2025. She has recorded and released six studio albums and an EP. Kearney is a two time New England Music Award nominee for soul/r&b act of the year. Kearney tours both as a solo act and with a full band. She spent 2018-2020 living in London touring the UK/ Europe with her own act and with a 9-piece Latin band called Snowboy & the Latin Section. She has shared the stage with the likes of Maceo Parker, Los Lobos, Daryl Hall, Mavis Staples, John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, The Derek Trucks Band and more.

    Grammy-winning saxophonist and bandleader Jimmy Carpenter continues to establish himself as one of today's premier blues instrumentalists. His latest release, Just Got Started (Gulf Coast Records), debuted at #3 on the Apple Blues Chart and #10 on the Billboard Blues Chart, earning widespread acclaim for its blend of blues, soul, and New Orleans-inspired grooves. Produced by acclaimed producer Kid Andersen at the legendary Greaseland Studios, the album marks Carpenter's sixth critically praised solo release. A two-time Blues Music Awards winner for Best Instrumentalist/Horn, Carpenter received his 11th BMA nomination in 2026. He tours internationally with his own band, performs as a member of Bill Murray & His Blood Brothers, and serves as Musical Director for the renowned Big Blues Bender. Over a career spanning four decades, Carpenter has performed with artists including Mike Zito, Tinsley Ellis, and Walter Wolfman Washington.

    The Brothers Comatose are a roots-infused bluegrass band known for their infectious blend of Americana, folk, and traditional bluegrass.     A Band Of Brothers is more than an Allman Brothers tribute act, it's an all-star collective of East Coast musicians channeling the spirit, improvisation, and deep musical chemistry of The Allman Brothers Band into a powerful live experience. Founded by acclaimed Boston guitarists Ryan Taylor and Johnny Trama, the group blends Southern rock, blues, soul, and jazz with the spontaneity and energy that defined the Allman Brothers tradition. The lineup features keyboardist and vocalist Matt Zeiner, best known for his years touring with Dickey Betts, alongside bassist Jesse Williams, drummer Tom Arey, and percussionist Brendan Tommaney. Collectively, the members have performed with artists including Bettye LaVette, Duke Robillard, and North Mississippi Allstars. Rooted in timeless songs but driven by fearless improvisation, A Band Of Brothers delivers a dynamic, road-tested performance that honors the legacy while making it fully their own.

    Internationally acclaimed multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Gunhild Carling has become one of today's most electrifying ambassadors of swing and vintage jazz. Known as Sweden's "Queen of Swing," Carling is celebrated for her dazzling stage presence, virtuosic musicianship, and larger-than-life performances that blend jazz standards, vaudeville-style entertainment, tap dancing, & comedic flair. A master of more than 11 instruments: including trumpet, trombone, harmonica, harp, recorder, and even jazz bagpipes' her performances culminate in her signature feat: playing three trumpets simultaneously. Carling has appeared on America's Got Talent and Sweden's Let's Dance, and has performed with the Count Basie Orchestra, symphonies worldwide, and Postmodern Jukebox. Critics have praised her as a "show-stopping vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and bandleader" (Jonathan Widran), while jazz historian Scott Yanow called her performances "consistently exhilarating, swinging, and unpredictable."

  • Scott Brown & The Diplomats

    Led by former US Senator and Ambassador Scott Brown, Scott Brown and the Diplomats is an offshoot of a band formed in New Zealand, where their last performance was at Sky Stadium before 15,000 people. Upon returning home, Brown sought out the best talent in New England to reform the group. For over five years, this talented, rockin' group has played an impressive list of venues and concerts throughout New England. They have headlined and supported acts like Skid Row, The Bullet Boys, and The Dark Desert Eagles, bringing a great selection of classic hits that people have grown up with and enjoy listening and dancing to. This project had a legendary start in New Zealand and has continued in stride back in the USA. We are thrilled to welcome them back for the band's fourth time playing at Jimmy's!

She has been working professionally in the music industry for the past 20 years meaning that she started working professionally when she was only 9 years old. She is the only female bassist to rank within the 'Top 10 Bassists in the 21st Century' on Music Radar.

    Charles Lloyd, a National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master (2015) and honorary doctorate recipient from Berklee College of Music, is widely regarded as playing at the height of his expressive powers. The depth of his sound reflects a lifetime in music, guided by a forward-looking approach he describes simply as "Go forward." Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Lloyd was shaped by a rich musical heritage and early influences including Charlie Parker, Billie Holiday, and Duke Ellington. He emerged as a leading voice in modern jazz, from his work with Chico Hamilton and Cannonball Adderley to his own groundbreaking quartet. His recordings and performances are noted for clarity, restraint, and emotional depth. As Peter Watrous of The New York Times wrote, he has created "a strange and beautiful distillation of the American experience, part abandoned and wild, part immensely controlled and sophisticated."
